Terms of service
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These terms govern purchase and use of display.doctor from Individual Entrepreneur Vladimir Kalnitskii, identification number 322940644, Georgia ("we", "us").
Product
display.doctor is software that draws a compensation overlay for display defects. Current prices and plans are on the pricing page.
You receive the product as offered at checkout. We may change the software, supported platforms, prices, or these terms later. A change does not alter a purchase already completed, except where applicable law requires it.
Windows and macOS trial
The Windows and macOS versions include a one-day free trial. Starting the trial requires an email address and the confirmation code sent to that address.
No payment details are required for the trial. The trial does not convert automatically into a paid plan, and no charge is made when it ends. Continued use after the trial requires a separate purchase.
You must provide an email address you control and keep access to it. You may not use the trial repeatedly by creating additional accounts or otherwise circumvent trial restrictions.
Use
You may install and use the copy you purchased on devices you control. You are responsible for deciding whether it is suitable for your device and environment.
The software may not fully compensate for every defect or run on every system.
Payment and refunds
Checkout is handled by the payment provider shown at purchase. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
Disclaimer
The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or display hardware damage. Our aggregate liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase.
Privacy
The privacy policy describes how we handle information.
Changes
We may post an updated version of these terms at this URL. The updated version applies from the date it is posted, except for purchases already completed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

This policy applies to display.doctor, operated by Individual Entrepreneur Vladimir Kalnitskii, identification number 322940644, Georgia ("we", "us").
What we collect
The Windows and macOS versions require an email address. We send a confirmation code to verify that address before starting the one-day trial. We may retain the verified email address and records associated with the trial, license, and purchases.
If you join the mailing list, we store your email address so we can send the project announcements you requested.
The application runs on your computer. We do not receive your defect maps or display contents as part of normal use.
When you start a trial, buy a license, or contact us, we may process:
- email address and email-verification records
- mailing-list subscription
- trial status, start and expiry times, and associated license records
- order details (plan, amount, date, and the payment provider's reference)
- the content of messages you send us
- standard web server logs when you visit display.doctor (IP address, user agent, pages requested)
Payment card data is collected by the payment provider at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use this information to verify email addresses, provide and enforce the one-day trial, activate paid access, complete orders, handle refunds, respond to you, keep records required for accounting and tax, and prevent fraud or abuse.
We use mailing-list email addresses to send requested news and announcements about the display.doctor project.
Sharing
We share information with the payment provider and with vendors who host the service or deliver confirmation emails, and only as needed to operate the business or as required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep order and correspondence records for as long as needed for support, accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
We keep mailing-list email addresses until you ask us to remove yours.
Requests
To ask about information we hold, email [email protected].
